First ever VATSIM Flight!!

So VATSIM (Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network) is something that i wanted to try for ages *really* but ive not really had the confidence to talk to Active ATC(Air Traffic Control) becauce some ATC talk so fast and i was affraid that i would miss hear something .

Many of my friends online are the same “affraid of the ATC” over the comms, but tonight (09/01/20) i took a jump into the deep end and reactived my dead vatsim acount from ages back. i started it years ago but never did a single flight with it because of my confidence.

but recently ive been flying around the east coast of america in the E Jets from the Steam workshop (around £8 in winter sale) been flight from Miami to houston to Atlanta to Oklahoma then to Chicago but the last flight KOKL to KORD was flown via VATSIM 🙂 , climbed out of Oklahoma to the west then turned to the north east up to 31,000ft to O`Hare.

during decent Chicago tower told me the actives (Runways) which was all east approaches into O`Hare so i had to fiddle about with the flight plan abit in the FMC.

but one of the funniest things about this flight was there was a 747 in the neighborhood at the end of 10R just chillin its ass off, Welcome to VATSIM?

“The Sandwich”

Updating the blog cruising at FL270, thought I’ll go make a #sandwich before we land so I did, I come back to the controls to find I’m turning onto final the Baro was still set to STD so the alt was reading 13,000 (actual 2500) I’m clocking 290 with no flaps down. So after Setting this #powwow up for landing but towards 1000ft I get a master warning ⚠️ “too low gear!!”
So I put the gear down just in time for a rating of -241fpm on R33L at KOKC, I think @Airforceproud95 would be happy that butter of a landing in a E175 United Express #landthegoddamnplane #onebutterofalanding

Pokemon Moon and Road to Dragonite (PGo)

hello everyone

Pokemon GO

well this the road to getting a Dragonite taking longer than i hope on pokemon GO, well i mean 5km per candy and ya need 100 candies to get and Dragonite this may take sometime *sigh

so the candy count at the mo is 33 so its gonna take some time to get it up to 100

Pokemon MOON

its been some time since i pick up the 3DS and sat down had a look at where i was on Pokemon Moon

so it seems like Munchlax is taking its sweet time to evolve in to Snorlax i hate happiness evolution type pokemon they do grind my gears 🙁

just got to heaad to the lab on an island to move the story on abit so not doing that until ive got part of the pokedex complete so that will be fun 🙂
